U.S. aviation companies have participated in the building and the growth of China's aviation industry since 1972. The ACP was formally established in 2004 to provide a platform for U.S. aviation companies and the government to work closer together to support the fast growing China market. The ACP currently has five public members and more than 40 corporate members.
